MENU

How it works

Tap to begin
Open StressPhone whenever your nervous system feels overloaded
Rotate your wrist
The app responds to movement with pulse, rhythm, and sensory feedback
Feel the release
Each rotation helps discharge nervous energy and interrupt internal noise

Why it works

Because most people are internally overstimulated.

13 Color Environments

Each one is an emotional landscape — pick the state you want to inhabit. Pair with an atmosphere below.

Default

Original canvas — neutral and quiet, for any state

6 Living Atmospheres

Slow ambient animations that run behind every session. Layer any atmosphere over any color environment.

Deep Ocean
Slow sine waves drift continuously across the screen
Forest
Tall pine silhouettes sway in a quiet, slow wind
Moonlight
Concentric rings breathe outward at different rates
Snow
Sparse flakes fall softly without urgency
Mountain
Still peaks with slow bands of mist drifting through
Storm
Diagonal rain streaks move steadily across the dark

Every combination is yours to find. Color environments and atmospheres are fully independent — stack any of the 13 environments with any of the 6 atmospheres. That's 78 distinct scenes, each one a different place for your nervous system to land.

Bloom + Moonlight Night Sky + Snow Dusk + Forest Aurora + Ocean Ember + Storm Tidal + Mountain

Haptic Wake

A morning alarm that reaches you through touch — before you even open the app.

StressPhone
Time to wake up
Your haptic alarm is going off
now
01
Pick the time and days you want to wake up. No sound — your phone just pulses.
02
A burst of haptic pulses arrives as a notification. Your body feels it before your brain does.
03
Open the app to check in with how your morning feels, then start a session before the day begins.

The only Pro feature that works before you open the app. Most alarms drag you into a screen. Haptic Wake brings you back to your body first — a physical nudge that interrupts the groggy spiral before the scrolling starts.

Like A Deep Breath But Better

From the Creator
Why I built StressPhone
I was three apps deep into a doomscroll spiral without even realizing I'd picked up my phone. One small haptic pulse interrupted the loop. That brief moment of grounding changed everything. I built StressPhone to create that pause when people need it most.

Questions

What does StressPhone actually do? +
StressPhone is a grounding tool that turns wrist motion into sensory feedback you can feel. Rotate your wrist and the app responds with haptic pulses, rhythm, and sound. It's an endless loop — keep going until the internal noise settles.
How does it help with stress? +
Most people are internally overstimulated without realising it. Physical motion paired with rhythmic sensory feedback gives nervous energy somewhere to go — discharging it through the body instead of letting it loop in the mind. Move until you feel the shift.
What are modes? +
Modes are different pulse patterns grouped into three families: Fast Energy (buzzy, electric — for discharging high activation), Regulation (slow, grounding — for nervous system settling), and Motion Amplifiers (responsive, dynamic — for when you need to feel in control). Each feels different. Try them and find what your body responds to.
Do I need internet to use it? +
No. StressPhone works completely offline. Your sessions, stats, and progress are all stored locally on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.
What's StressPhone Pro? +
Pro unlocks every pulse mode, all color themes, adjustable haptic strength, session insights and streaks, and Haptic Wake — a silent haptic alarm that pulses your phone before you even open the app. More ways to meet your nervous system where it is. You can also unlock individual modes and themes if you prefer.
Is my data private? +
Yes. Everything is stored locally on your device. We don't collect personal data, track your usage, or share anything with third parties. Your sessions are yours.
